Thanks , guys !! The tuners are made from 1/4 inch thick pieces I had left from fret boards . I saw them to size ,then coax them to shape with a table sander . They are then hand sanded and "fitted" to the peg holes . I drilled the peg holes under size , I think 7/32" . I then took my rat tail file and begin twisting clockwise and counter clockwise , from the backside of the head , into the hole until I had a cone shaped friction peg hole . I did a very fast rough job , the pegs slip if brought up to e or b ..... but stay tune very well tuned tuned to d and a !
