Got this old Burlington Drive-in Movie speaker at a random garage sale stop outside of Pisgah, Iowa recently. I normally get my Drive-In Speakers from my supplier in Omaha, Nebraska but he's running a little low on inventory so this was a great find. The Burlington, Iowa drive-in opened in 1949 and closed in 1994, the first movie in 1949 was "Black Gold" with Anthony Quinn and Kathryn DeMille. I like to use the original speakers in them when possible but the speaker in this one was pretty roached out so installed a new speaker, 2.5 watt 9 volt Artec amp, green dice on/off/volume, red l.e.d. on/off light, input jack.
