My tribute to Elmore made from an early sixties Kingston parlor guitar with a Tri-Sonic in the soundhole. Through an acoustic amp it kind of sounds like an electric resonator.

    I like that a lot. 

    I have a 1955 Silvertone that I stuck a pickup in the sound hole and a cbg reso cone.  Sounds great plugged and mediocre acoustic.
