I would have used it for a hat. But the sitar is a fine idea too. I don't find many 2 dollar hats.
Yep , banjo or shamisen was actually my first impression, but on the way out of the store it whispered to me that it wanted to be a Sitar with a wood soundboard!
Good find! My first thought would have been banjo but the sitar in your other pic looks like a cool instrument.
