    It has a rod piezo in the bridge, and the frame runs under the box.

    Tell me about this thing.  What kind of pickup, or is it acoustic?  I'm thinking of making one, 1/2 size, but primarily for pizzicato playing, across my lap like a guitar.  Is there a stiffening rod in the neck?
