  • Thanks to the folks at Gitty for featuring my Beast in the newsletter. It makes you feel good when that happens. The Beast is a keeper. Her deep voice and resonance are way cool. Just goes to show a top doesn’t need to be real thin and fragile. The Beast is 3/8 inch thick top and bottom. Sides are 1/4 inch. The child’s cymbal is very resonant and puts out good vibes. The Goldfoil is Hot and rings clear. Happy camper!

  • Thanks Wes, thanks AGP. You make a guy feel good.

  • Yep!, looks as good as sounds Dave  :-)

  • I like the tail Unc. It is new old stock. Still has the adhesive paper over the chrome. The stickum has hardened on it and has yellowed and browned around the edges. You can see the K and Art Deco design under the paper. I like the three diamon cutouts on it too. I needed to take a break from my colander leaves for a change. :*)

  • Love the painted fret board.  Great pickup choice.  That tail piece.....   I am undecided on it.

  • Very nice big-ol'-build, Dave!  Clever resonator!
