  • Awesome looking guitar! If the neck isn't glued into place add wood to rase your fretboard. If it is then I'd have to agree with Maddog. All a tapered fretboard. The hight of your bridge gives you lots of room for strumming and picking.
  • kewl!!

  • Looks nice, I've looked at this for a bit and have what I think is an easy fix. Just leave the resonater as is and add a tapered fretboard to the neck. Then you can do away with the forward handle.

  • Why not try a wood saddle painted the same white as the flag?   Would not show much at all and might turn a great beauty into a great player.

  • I see what you mean.   Yup, needs a lower bridge that still looks cool.   Good wishes.

  • Uncle John...I added the forward handle to lower the action on the strings which sits really high because of the way I built the resonator. It can be played with or without the front handle, although you have to strum up on the neck with the front handle in place. I am keeping a lookout for a better/lower piece of hardware for the center of the resonator and will probably replace it when I do.

  • Love the looks of this one.   If it plays well, It looks like it would be great fun to play.   It looks like the strings are hitting the forward handle? ?   Get this one tweaked into a player and you've got a winner.

  • exquisite!
