Any ideas for this old box

Just found this old box and am wondering what sort of instrument to make it intoIt happens to be exactly the same size as the ammo can... so maybe another electric?

    hmm maybe so!  I did just finish an amp in a much bigger box that sounds really good and warm (i'll put up a video of it soon)

    I was just looking around and maybe thinking a 4 or 3 string resonator.. but it'd have to be no more than a 5 inch cone
