Gorgeous! It's stunning to see what can be done using simple lumber from a place like Lowe's! They've been a big source for necks and fretboards for many of us builders! I even scored some Corian samples that I've used for nuts... (Bolts are a TON easier, though!)
Thanks, John! I made the headstock, neck and fingerboard out of red oak from Lowe's. Strings are Ernie Ball 14-22-30-38 Tuned to GDgB. She sounds great! Out of all I have built this my wife's favorite!
Yup a near ten. I don't like fancy for my own players. This is kind of fancy but more subtle and really a bit understated. Tune her to GDGB and send her to me. Her name might be Gloria. She is definitely a she to me.
Kidding on the sending. I have too many. But I sure like Ms Gloria.
