Short story. This amp used to be mine. I got it back. It is good.Long story. Linda and I had this amp 15 or so years back. Pre-CBG days (for us). Got it on ebay, used and cheap. Used it some to play out. Not pros or even close, but we got fed a few times. Our friend, Mike Young, died last week. He had muscular dystrophy and lost the ability to breathe on his own. He was in iron lungs and later on a ventilator (respirator).Mike had a rare ability to be able to speak while on a ventilator. He had a trach - a tube in his throat- hooked to the vent. He got harder and harder to hear as he got weaker and his mom asked me for ideas. I set them up with this amp and a microphone. It helped some.Mike lived to be 61, I think. He far outlived his life expectancy and was a happy guy in spite of everything. His mom, Alice, was his devoted caregiver.I got the amp back today and it works GREAT with cbgs. Will power 2 at once plus the microphone. I like my Wes Carl and my Roland Micro and the Line 6 Linda got from JP Swenson at KC fest. But this baby rocks!

Thanks, Jabes. Thanks, Obsidian. I did not know that. I've had it back a year and not used it. Kind of sad.
The old crates used to be made out of wood thus the significance of the wood on the face.
