from the start put the mini jack on and the original speaker, connected phone all worked in a beautifull manner ! then changed the speaker back to mine, Oke then changed the mini stereo to standard mono, then changed the resistor in the set up black brown yellow to orange orange orange,
and the hole thing came to live, its not verry loud but it works , any tips on how to make it louder?
atleast we are both happy my son and i , that finaly it works, althow next time i think i buy a sheap plastic amp that gives a good sound , tear it apart and use that its cheaper and takes less time !
I believe the last one is the best option! i tryed the adaptor from mini to normal jack , and it still did not work, it must be something simple ,but i still cant put the vinger on it, leaving as is is off course the best option for me , but do you have any ideer for a better stand in option ? a simple o take that and put it like this and your set to go kind of thing?does Gitty have a good option ?
Sorry there Andries, I got turned around :) I meant 3/32” stereo male to 1/4” mono female adapter? I have a few old tube stereo receivers that I use for amps sometimes and some have screw terminals & 3/32 inputs. I’ve opted to leave them stock for posterity, so I use an adapter to play through them & it works out perfect?
Well, if you wanna leave it “as is” & not change anything, then you would need a 3/32” stereo female to 1/4” mono male adapter. Then you could just plug into it with your regular cable without any modification? Or you could wire up a 1/4”mono jack & omit one of the Input connections since you don’t need a left & a right?

Yup ! does that mean its no good in my setup?
This seems to be an amp meant for an MP3 player right? I think that’s why it has a 3/32” Stereo Jack?
