  • "Thank Ya Kindly" Bob "Ambrose" Negus  :-)

  • Beautiful build AGP!

  • "Thanks Dave!", Yes!, the Camphor is a very pretty looking wood, as well as being very easy to work with, doesn't need any stains etc., just a bit of a Wax based polish is all that is needed to highlight the beautiful grain and colours, and agree fully with, no need for any type of "Spastic Plastic" in our builds.  ;-)

  • Wow, that’s pretty wood Allan. We don’t need no stinking plastic 3D printed guitars do we? :*)

  • "Thanks Rev", Yes of course it, like most of my builds are keepers, maybe I could get back into the States by entering Mexico and then climbing the Wall  ;-D

  • Yep - definitely a keeper, Alan!  (But then, I guess they all are!)  A true thing of beauty - love that camphor laurel neck!  Bummer about the Callyfest...  But if you're REALLY interested in visiting the States, we currently have a sort of open door policy.

  • :D

  • Thanks BQ, I think there are many different types of Laurel Trees of the Lauraceae Family, the main two I'm aware of are, the Bay Laurel, one of which I have growing in my garden, but kept trimmed down and small, we use the Bay Leaves for cooking, the other is the Camphor Laurel (Cinnamomum camphora), which used to grow widely in my part of the planet, but has since been declared a Noxious Weed, and is slowly being eradicated, but it's a widely sought after Timber by Wood Turners etc, but is getting harder to source.  ;-{

  • "Thanks Doug", love the Camphor Wood, easy to use, looks great and smells nice, and I agree, 3 strings are just right, for me anyway!   :-)

  • Thanks 'UJ', Glad Ya Like it, but I'm afraid I can't deliver it, after the antics that went on at the recent Callyfest, I was deported, and the US Border Security Mob stamped my Passport "Barred From the US for Life" :-{
