AGP #379 - ''Doofus'' (Modification)

AGP #379 – “Doofus”3 String Fretless Baritone GuitarScale:34inchesStrings: .044NW .030NW .020NWTuning: D A dLately I’ve been playing this build, done back in early March 2020, at 34 inches, it’s by far the longest scale 3 String Build I’ve done. The Box Sides & Neck are White Mahogany (Eucalyptus acmenoides), the Box Top & Bottom are strips of glued 32mm by 12mm Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), both these timbers were builders offcuts supplied my Carpenter Grandson, who my Son fondly refers to as “Doofus”, hence the name of this build!, the Fretboard, Nut and Headstock Wings are recycled Queensland Walnut (Endiandra palmerstonii), all Timber is coated with *Organoil Natural Wax & Polish (*an emulsified mix of Beeswax and Citrus Oil). However!, I thought it looked a bit plain, so decided to add some Art Work, in the form of Celtic Symbols, using Heat Transferred Laser Printed Images, while also adding Vol and Tone Pots. :-)
