  • Thanks 'UJ', It's been a couple of yrs since I done the last Block Rim Build, so had to have a of a bit think to remember how I done them!, went through a bit of a stage back then of Block Rim Mania, from memory started by a Jim Morris Banjo Build, built 7 different Banjo Git builds, this one is number 8, it was one those build as you go along builds, and the Beer Caps were an obvious inclusion, and you're spot on with the Hank Song, it was the first thing I thought of when starting the build, one of my fave Hank songs, as is the Hank / Bocephus version. :-)

  • "Thanks Poorness", have been saving Beer Caps for yrs with the intention of using some of them when I get around to building what is known Down Under as a Lagerphone, have also used them in a few other Beer orientated builds, and also as Vol Tone Knobs etc. :-)

  • "Thanks Bob", Great Description!  :-D

  • "Thanks Bones", one of the main reasons I spend a fair bit of time in the shed building Gits, is that it keeps me out of the Beer Fridge for as long as possible before rippin' the top off one,

    Cheers & Beers Cobber  :-)

  • Very skilled planning, crafting and building, my friend. I think I would start off with Hank's There's A Tear In My Beer. A 2nd on the beer caps - takes it from great to greater.
  • What a cool design. I love all the beer caps.
  • Beautifully intoxicating!

  • Bonza Cobba , got one in my hand right now ...
