  • "Thanks Wes"

  • "Thanks UJ", the box has been sitting in the shed for a few yrs now, along with quite a few other small ones, I always thought they were too small, but! at the moment I can't put this "Little Beauty" down, and Yes! I have had a break from building, mainly because I was running out of ideas for different types of build styles etc., recently dragged out my 6 string Weissenborn and a few other store bought 6 stringers with the idea to have another go at improving my 6 string capabilities, and have now fallen into a Lap Steel frame of mind, our good friend Dave Lynas has been playing some beautiful Lap Steel stuff lately, so the next few builds I do will be 6 String Lap Steel orientated, along with an "Offset Bones Reilly Type Build" :-D

  • "Thanks Bones", I do have a similar box which is earmarked for an Offset Neck Build :-D

I did do one Offset Type Build  few yrs back, and it was a  "Bloody Disaster" :-(

It was a Mongrel of a thing to build, a Bastard of a thing to play, it looked Shithouse, and sounded the same, it was de-constructed not long after being built, the box went into the fire, and the Neck and Pickup were reused in other builds. :-D

  • A very good looking box and build, Alan.  That style suits my likes to a tee.  I noticed I had not seen a build from you for  while.  Nice to see again.

  • Cool but you stuck the neck in the middle of the box .... just saying ...

  • "Typo Error" :-( Scale is actually 609mm / 24inches :-)
