AGP #281 - “Federation Paton”(3 String Baritone Biscuit Tin Guitar)Scale : 711mm / 28 inchesStrings : .056NW / .044NW / .034NW /Tuning: C / G / c /The Biscuit Tin was a Dumpster Rescue from a local rubbish tip, the Neck is Tasmanian Oak, the Fretboard is Poplar, coated with a clear Acrylic Gloss, and a 5.8k Single Coil Pup with Vol & Tone is fitted.The Gentleman featured on the Headstock & Fretboard was a Grand-Uncle, more commonly known as Fred, he survived the horrors of WW1 in France, but was unfortunately killed in a Motor Cycle accident in our home town of Goulburn NSW Australia in 1928.

  • "Thanks", Erasmo James O, UJ & Jim, the "Anzac" tradition is a very popular and proud part of our history and folklore here in the "Land Down Under", these tins are part of a series produced over the last 15 years, with new ones being released around Anzac Day each year, and are now becoming collectors items, they do pop occasionally on my charity shop visits, and of course I just have to buy them, have another Anzac tin build on the bench at the moment, with another four (at the moment :-) in the queue to be built at a later date.
