  • Thanks BC! The box is glued shut, yes but there is an access panel on the back (you can see it on one of the photos) - this allows me to get inside to the electronics.

    I do make these bridges from offcuts from whatever fretboard material I use for the build, and a small piece of bone which I sand to a point. I really need to get around to making a step by step guide...

  • Wow.  I love your builds Richey.  Your soundboards just look amazing.  I love the solid spruce box.  I have a couple of questions though: Is the box totally glued shut?  Also do you make your own bridges or did you buy, saw similar bridge on build 10? 

  • Well spotted Michael. I heard once that the tonal properties of spruce will improve over time, I think that may have started happening here!
