just wanting a nice size 6-string cbg that i can drag around anywhere,the truss rod was salvaged from a vintage neck that was not good any more fer 6-string use. the only modification i did to the martin neck to install the truss rod was chisel a slot at the headstock side for the tension nut on the truss rod to set inside the neck. its great fun to build yer own cbg to demonstrate the power of the cigarbox to other guitar players who know nothing of the cigar box guitar. you say look at this and they say wow dude that thing sounds cool fer a cigar box,huummmmm i never knew that could be done. then you say welcome to the cbg world.
