  • Oh, dear!  Too  late!  They are all bubblewrapped and sealed up in a carton. 

  • They look lovely. It would be great to hear a sound comparison test. Any chance?

  • That's the first time I've use the CR boxes. Very nice!  But they take a bit of finishing to get them ready.  I finished it quite some time ago, and then set it aside.  I think I used an acrylic, staying clear of the paper border.  Don't use tung oil or the like -- it will soak into the paper no matter how careful you are, and wreck the gold!

    This was a cool experiment, because the instruments are essentially identical except for the boxes.  They all have a distinct voice.  I was surprised at the Tabac.  I had used it before for short scale instruments and it was very quiet. This one was longer, and it is much louder and clearer.  Certainly okay for acoustic at this length.
