sure was... but having done it for the guy really made me push myself making the most excellent gitty I could, so it's gone, but I get to keep what I learned.
Also I put a guitar out there I know will get played for people, something about that gets me jazzed more than anything.
That is just plain very fine. I really like this one. Looks like a good player and very good pup. Fancy but not fancy assed and a bit relic looking too. Man, you did good. Take 5 bucks out of petty cash and go home a few hours early.
Thanks guys, the headstock is from Delta Groove, I bought this 'you finish it' neck from them at a festival (nice deal). They are great they come with a slotted board and an extra piece of wood for you to construct your drop in the neck if you want one. I'm really glad I bought it because now I understand how to take my own necks to the next level. It was $20, I think they are normally twice that but it would still be well worth it just to backward engineer one.

I get that. If I build a good player, I want it to be played.

Ha, ha. We had better not be doing these things for money. Had to be sad letting that one go.
Also thank you for the petty cash. This was a commission, and I have concluded that I made 93c an hour!
