$5 at the thrift store got me the drum intact with hardware and useable head. My friends cartoon prompted this build to restore order to the universe.

Thanks gary. Usually the thrift store drums are of real poor, kid type quality. I got lucky with this one. I always look for tambourines at thrifts and yard sales too. They make decent banjos if you remove the jangles.
