    Thanks Ambrose, BrianQ, and Lonman. Both the darker necks are finished with Minwax Jacobean stain. You can buy it at any of the big box stores. The tailpiece on the orange one is a CB Gitty part.

    nice work. What treatment did you use to get the necks dark on the 1st and last one.  I especially like the tailpiece on the 2nd. Is that handmade?
