I found the tuner machines at a local church rummage sale, affixed to a totally destroyed guitar of some unknown make ... the wing was an afterthought, just for the hell of it and it worked out pretty decent ....a guy is coming over this afternoon to look at it, and shall probably buy the thing, as he pretty much buys what I make, then sells them to other folks ...
Simple enough wing to make the headstock extra special. Ah, zero fret looks like. I used one recently in bringing a vintage tenor guitar back to life. First I used a jumbo fret. Action to high. Then a medium-medium fret- still too high. The git had low skinny frets. I stole one from about the 16th and used it. Pretty good.
