A lady heard me playing one similar to this and said she wanted to "give it" to her ex husband. Hmm... I wonder what she meant.

Good eye Unc. I'm trying to leave as much meat up there as I can and still have room for the string to wind around. I did have to drill new holes in two of the shafts to get things lined up.

Sometimes what goes around comes back around. If I do one, I may keep the slot narrower like you did.
