3 string Bass

This is the first full-scale bass I've made (I've made baritones but not a 32" guitar). Roughsawn softwood from a pallet, 3 part mahogany/oak neck internal passive piezo and regular bass pickup. It's for a customer and it's been in my workshop for WAY too long before I've actually managed to get round to putting it together.

  • Sorry, no plans..I did a quick sketch to figure out the size of the box, I had a neck blank already laminated, and then made it!
  • dig it!  do you have the plans... I've been wanting to build myself a bass.  So far I have built 5 cbg's... I want to try a Diddley Bow and a Bass.
