This cheapie electric went got a cleaning and a new high E string and went out to a kid who is having a blast with it. He had a nice acoustic and CBG, but is now getting into way up the neck stuff he can do ont this one.

That one of yours sure looks pretty in the pics. It is kind of kin to an Ovation. Yup on buying old guitars. It has mostly gotten to expensive for me - and on top of that, if I would find one on ebay, the shipping is quite high.
You've been a busy boy resurrecting all these cheap old gits, it's a credit to you, that you when give them that little bit of Unc TLC, they are passed on to kids etc., I like yourself can't walk past a cheap charity shop used and abused Geetar, have done about 10 or so over the years, used to pick them for no more $10, but the same places are now asking around $100 bucks for the same products, and at that price, I have now learned to walk past them.
An example of a $10 rescue is this Ovation Style Plastic Round Backed Cheapie, I picked up back in October 2014.
