Beleive it or not, i'm a dane, but Danish oil is virtually impossible to get from a regular wood/hardware/general/hobby store - had to order it online. First time i ever heard of Danish oil was from here. But funnily enough, it seems to be originating from Denmark - although i haven't come across a dane this week who knew what it was :) well, just some info for ya'll
Thank :) so happy about the positive response to this slightly weird design :) - i just took it all apart again, gave it 4 layers of danish oil and carved a bone bridge instead of the bolt. Primarily to lower action to the exact spot i like to fit both slide and some single note picking. Planning on some headstock engraving of some sort - but will post a picture again when itøs completely finished. Just couldn't wait to string it and play it yesterday before the oil was shipped to me :D
