Thanks Unclle John. I built the maple neck for a Ford hubcap then decided oak would be more rustic for that build. When I grabbed this box I decided my last piece of laminated fretboard would tie in with the box. I put the two sound holes on the top but realized that with the thin top and bridge placement I could increase the volume even more. What I love about this hobby is the learning process and opportunity for creativity never ends. The wife says l have to start selling some but it's too hard to part with them.

Nice how you kind of repeated the box stripes with that cool laminated neck. Nice proportions and lines too. Hunh. I even like the sound holes.
