Cuesta-Rey (Cigar Box) Guitar, finished today. 3 Stringer -Looks nice. 7 sound holes, Sliver/Antique (Cake Splade) string guard, Allen Key Bridge. Sounds great as is, still have to install elect/pup (piezo) and Amp Jack. Made the Neck from 2 x 20mm quads joined together and a 40mm Tas/Oak for Fret Board on top. 2 tone stained came up good. Reinforced the Neck in the Box with 1/2 PVC pipe 40mm dia. Worked OK, never reinforced a Neck this way before, as I only had a little room in the box. The Cigar box was very narrow in depth. Always a way...thats what CBG's are all about, no rules - but always a challenge.
