  • i likey!

  •  It doesn't take much to build that special CBG, just some imagination and a few odd's and ends.

    Nice on Glenn.

  • I may have to try one. Thanks.

  • Agreed Uncle John, totally. Thanks. It sounds quite good. I just never seem to have time to record and post, maybe one of these days... but I built it in about an hour one hot summer day, and sat down on the picnic table on the deck at the trailer we had above a lake at that point, and tuned it up. As I marked the key positions (black sharpie...) my wife walked out there. Started playing and she looked up amazed and said "Wow! That little thing sounds really GOOD!" She's rather picky about such things, so there you go. Literally was just in the mood to build, had the old wound and plain string from another git, pieces of wood laying around the place, 2 small eyebolts w. wingnuts, piece of sheet metal and a discarded tuna can from a huge lunch we'd had with about 35 peeps... and just tossed it together. You just never know 'eh? One of my personal junk faves :) -Glenn

  • Yup.  I like CBGs that look like some guy with no guitar an no money wants to build one today and play it tonight.   I like it.  how does it sound?
