I've built a bunch of guitars and ukes using Arturo Fuente boxes. Usually I use the back of the box because the wood is thinner and resonates better. The paper covered front is made of something similar to Masonite and I always thought it would have a dead sound. I'm happy to say I was completely wrong. This ukulele has an amazingly sweet tone and I think it looks pretty good to.
