    5mm diameter, 19mm length. I guess that's about 1/4" x 3/4"

    What size magnets did you use?  1/4" x 2"?  Is there an optimal size or could you do it with shorter ones?  Thanks,

    Thanks Bob - that's quite a commendation coming from you. I just wired these up to test them, seem to be working fine. I had a hell of a time soldering the wires on though, is there a better way of removing the enamel coating from the wire than with the tip of the soldering iron?

    The tiny screws are steel - think this will cause problems...?
