Haw, haw, haw. I can laugh, 'cause that's EXACTLY the same mistake I made first off with CBG #1. (Why don't these tuners come with instructions?) Got it sorted out, though I had to redrill pilot holes for the tuner screws. I ended up with an "oreo peghead." To hide my various sins, I laminated a walnut strip above and below the maple peg head. Doesn't look that bad, in all.
Your pegheads look nice. What are you using on the left for a fretboard?
>These big Gispert boxes make great sounding acoustic guitars I almost past them up because they are plain but now that I know they are one of my favorites - have fun with it -
Oh yeah. I might drop one of those $25 brass resonators of Mike Lowe's in the middle http://smokehouseguitars.com/blognewsroll/?cat=38
Plain would be good; it would be a pity to ruin a good label, but this box is beggin' for somthing fancy.
Good luck with all your CBG's. Gotta look at the rest of your photos. Too cool.
