  • Funny you should come across this one Gary. I'm actually rebuilding this one at the moment, and I'm posting progress pics on my Facebook page. (Thanks for the like, by the way)
  • Sweetness!  I've got a Route 66 sign planned down the road.  Guess that's apropos.

A true LPG is also in my future, hopefully soon!  Nicely done, mate!

  •  I put twin piezo's in my second LP build I'm not happy with them as well so I'm going to try one of my spare rod piezo bridges instead .

  • Thanks Capo Kid... It's sorted ish, I'm just about to wind a pickup for it, not happy with the sound I'm getting from the piezos.

  • Looking good Richey , glad you got it sorted

  • Thanks Boogie! True, they would, but if I managed to get hold of one in Manchester I'm sure you could manage mate :-)
  • That's a beauty Richie - love to have a go at a license plate build but a UK license plate would look pretty lame! :)
  • Thanks Tom. The strings run through bike spoke nipples which pass through some copper tape, which I hook up to the volume pot to ground the strings.
  • That turned out great!  Love your tailpiece design.

  • Thanks Donald. Currently 2 piezos in parallel, one under the bridge and the other under the 6. I'm not blown away by the tone so I think I'll make a mag pup for it.
