    Sorry, I don't know what a Cuban Tres is. This is gG-DD-gg with strings something like .10/.22 - .13/.13 - .10/.10 I'd like to try this again with heavier strings and see how much lower I can go in the tuning. This is just a crappy old box from my mother-in-law's attic, but this is the best sounding instrument I've made so far. I have another one almost the same, single strings which also sounds loud and clear. I love those vintage Royal Jamaica boxes!

    is this set up/tuned like a Cuban Tres Diane? Your builds look good. Like your file cabinet sound hole ideas.
