Mikko, kind of you, would love to meet you and see your work if possible :) I don't honestly remember which string on my CANSjo... but it is a wound guitar string, probably near a .045 or so gauge. This last tour it was Helsinki area, then 2 pubs and an outdoor set plus a prison show in Vaasa, an outdoor pub show in Pietarsaari, another pub in Vaasa, a blues festival about 30 minutes from there, last an outdoor gig by the sea in Maalahti, Thanks, love to Suomi and saunas! -Glenn
Glenn, where in Finland did you went? I have visit when you come for another tour! Corona situation have to calm first of course, but when ever the next tour here is I will be there!
Yours is FAR cooler (in my opinion) and I have not attached a pickup on mine yet, also mine's a diddley bow. But here it is :) -Glenn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thqN23nhFh0
I'll post a couple of pics in a bit relating to what you've done. Love the zip ties too! I toured Finland last year for a couple of weeks, blues festival, prison and more with a 3 string cbg and double neck diddley bow (2 one-string necks). Have toured your wonderful nation several times over the years, love it. Thanks again! -Glenn
Amount of resonation can also be adjusted by turning the can opening lids in different positions. The sound is quite metallic and sharp, but I think it is a good thing.

Glenn, that diddley sounds great! I have to make one of my own. What string do you use or recommend?
