Short (40 cm / 16 inch) diddley

Modern, cheaply made, pressed fiber box. I used the underside of the lid for the diddley top.Modern (98 cent) yard stick from Lowes - stained dark. Used tuner, home made sheet metal tail piece. Slotted screws for nut and saddle. Fret markers are placed where 3rd, 5th, 7th and 12th frets would be.Likely will be gifted.

  • I agree, Gary.   That was the under lid side of a very nondescript box.   I flipped it and antiqued it a bit.
