Thanks for the comments! The "spider' is: 3/16x1/8" cold roll steel (leftover from truss rods) brazed around a washer. A screw goes through the bridge, spider and lid, tightening with a lock washer and nut. The screw pulls the center of the lid to the bottom of the spider tightening it, this is how to tune it to a specific resonant frequency, just like a Dobro! There are different lids! You need the one with the raised bead for the spider to sit on. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan lipstick. Handmade brass tailpiece, Koa neck, Bubinga fret board, Pink Ivory nut. Grover tuners.
