California Plate Guitar

Oak neck and heel. Home made hollow box. 1/4 inch plywood top and bottom. Holes cut into top below saddle and above.Recessed volume control. Gitty six string pre-wired mag pup. Purchased pre fretted walnut fret board.Mini fret markers on the side. GDG. Surprisingly good acoustic tone and good plugged in too.Action good for fingering or sliding.

    John, my main stay is a Roland Micro Cube.  I also have a suitcase style amp from Wes Carl, a drive in movie speaker amp from Maddog, and a cigar box one I made my self.

    Very nice bit of work there John! Good call on the woods used, they work well with that cool plate.
