Thanks, Dano. The sound hole is a wooden disk with a cut out pattern. I get them from Hobby Lobby. I cut the hole in the box to accept the disk, then use super glue and wood filler to mount and make it flush with the rest of the top. The fret markings are set up so it can be played in dulcimer, blues, and chromatic scales.

Really nice. Fret markings are cool. Is that a sound hole? If so what is in or covering it - looks like a sponge or a piece of fabric?
