I used super slinky strings and had to use the bottom 3 to get to an open G tuning. It's a 24" scale with 16 frets. That box takes up a lot of room and I think I'll be on the box to get to the high notes.

    I like how you did the headstock. It makes the strings run pretty much straight thru the nut. Nice touch.
