Hi Moritz, I'll gladly take a look at your work about How To Play and give what feedback I can.
Hi Moritz, for sure it wasn't just you, sorry if I wrote it that way. I wouldn't have guessed that English wasn't your native tongue, you write better than I do! I agree with you in many aspects, I'm cautiously optimistic that Lace will take our feedback and adjust and develop based on that, but it takes time. I imagine this is a very small division in the whole for them and as such only gets a very limited focus. On the other hand,, they could have a completely different agenda and so be it. Shane may have more communication with them and know more. Time will tell.
Hi Moritz,
Unless I missed part of his comment, which is possible since it was deleted before I could read it in the forum,,, it sounded to me like he was upset that you were a bit disrespectful to Lace and company,, which I thought too until you clarified in a message. Shane deleted the message, so it should either end there or else taken to private message to get clarity. Personally, I haven't even given a thought to any infringement, unless a person goes into production, you can build whatever you want. Lace hasn't come out and demanded we stop, and until he does I'm not even going to worry a bit about that aspect of it.

Just using this method you can calculate the output impedance of your current transformer pickup and not need an LCR meter.
If you are feeding an XLR mic input that has an actual input impedance of 2400 ohms, then you want to target the output impedance of your cuttent transformer pickup to be about one tenth of the actual XLR mic input impedance of about 240 ohms.
This technique just allows you to predict the outcome of using various string loop wire gauges and lengths.
I hope this helps.

Hi Moritz, sadly, it doesn't surprise me, the problem with those threads is the person who initiates them can remove them at any time, taking everyone elses input with them, not the first time it's happenned, it's a pity as there was some good stuff on there, some i wanted to reference again at some time. I try not to get paranoid about these things, but there seems to be a pattern.
