Read more…I have a set of these on the 4-string I'm finishing up. The posts seem pretty tall, and they have 2 holes, one high and one low. I'll wind my strings through the lower hole to get a good break angle over the nut. Question: does anyone cut off…
Read more…So I bought one of those aluminum ukulele resonator cones and a chrome cover, like you see here sometimes. I 'm not sure how to mount the cone inside the box, though, there are no holes for mounting screws. How have others done it?

Thanks for the friend request.The neck is attached with a tapered dovetail similar to this one,just like many classical guitars.This one is hand cut but I now use my router to them with a pair of jigs I made,no marking out,done in a minute.
