Hi all
Thanks for all the inspiration and build tips. I had a lot of fun making this, now I'm having fun learning to play it. I've built a few solid-body electric guitars, but CBG's seem a lot less stressful.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics. Next up for me is a resonator CBG.
The head stock has an indian head nickel inlay.

Beautiful. 1st build? Doesn't look like it to me!
Looks great buddy - can you tell us any details?
What details would you like?
I reinforced the inside corners of the box. The neck runs through, with a shallow cut for the single coil pickup made by Dan Sleep.
The neck is hard rock white maple with a grey stain, the finger board is waterfall bubinga, with abalone dots and black plastic side markers.
A bone nut.
A floating bridge I made myself from a piece of brass and some rosewood.
That'll do nicely. Thanks for the info. Really cool job on the headstock, and did you make those knobs yourself?
yes. They were cut from scraps from an electric violin I built. Cherry and lacewood with black-dyed poplar veneer in between.
