Thanks to those who are hosting this fourm, it will help me a lot, hopefully one day I will have the knowlage to be able to help someone out like you guys are doing here." No, no, NO. That day will never come, friend. I'm finishing my first CBG, that I started because I DON'T know what I'm doing. I've built more instruments than you could fit in a footlocker; drums, flutes, whistles, lyres. But nothing with FRETS. I have 4 half-finished guitars that reached the same point, and got no further. So I started this CBG...$20 of material, half of which I could salvage if things go to heck. I think I could finish those 4 acoustics now, but all my friends are jumping up and down, wanting CGBs.
Assuming you have access to about 12 common tools and some basic woodworking skills, you CAN make a basic, bare-bones CBG. And your second one will be even better. Don't assume that you need some sort of license, chum. If you want to build one, go out and DO it.
