Hello again, i would really like to have a choise of small, easy to put together, miniamp's in C.B.Gitty store.
Small enogh to power with an 9v battery, and mostley of course, at very low cost. :-)
More scull tuner's, scull strap knobs, scull pot.knob's etc.
You can drill 2, 3 or 4 smaller holes in these for the strings (the big holes are too big) and screw it either to your box or to the end of the neck if you are doing a box-through. Works great - these are what I supply in my CBG kits.
I have an order in for several styles of jack plates right now. The long-shaft Neutrik jacks (the ones in the kits) are 9.5mm in length, compared to the normal 6.5mm length of other jacks. So while they are definitely better, I can't guarantee they will get through every thick box wall. Take Acid cigar boxes for example, those things are so thick that even the long-shaft jacks have no chance. I do sell the end-pin/strap button jacks which will accomodate about any wall thickness, but they are pricier.
Hey Ben,
Do you have any plans to carry jack plates? On the topic......is the jack that comes with your basic kit a 6.5mm? I had a hard time getting the jack all the way through the box (the kit was great BTW). Getting ready for my next box and wanted to know before I placed my order. Thanks :)
Hello Iggy - I should be getting shipment confirmation on the black tuners very soon, hope to have them late this week/early next week. The style of them should be exactly the same as my gold tuners, just in matte black.

Any word on the black tuners yet? I am going to be needing more of them pretty soon, and I would rather buy from you than some guy on eBay. Looking for Wilkinson style vintage closed tuners....
I've looked into it a little out of curiosity since the idea popped up, but found the stuff to be a little pricey so far.
Still though, I think its a cool idea for an "all out" build!
Hello Mark! You're right, that would be quite a tool, especially since it's a chromatic tuner that will pick up/display a full range of pitches. The ones like this that I have seen were specifically set up for a 6-string guitar, so they wouldn't be as useful on a CBG. But this Takamine is different. I will see what I can find.

I sell smaller brass hinges that make great tailpieces. http://www.cbgitty.com/cubecart/index.php?act=viewProd&productI...

The ones I just got elsewhere were $22 per set.
