Made a stomp box, not happy with it.
Uses Shane's plans. Undercrown box (thick wood all around) 3 piezo to a preamp. Almost silent. Can coil pups be used with a metal top?

How much wiggle room do you have on the 1 1/2” width? I can find some straight 3/4 x 3 x 36”. I will lose a little bit to the saw kerf when I rip it. I think I would be OK but just not sure of the string spacing needed for a 3 string? Also is 36” lon

I’ve made a couple of trips to the local Home Depot and Lowe’s and their wood sucks! Only have poplar and some oak and NONE of it is straight. Most of it is not even close to straight! Is that normal? Where are y’all finding your neck wood stock?
