  • They went for $41.50 with the shipping that puts them close to $9.75 per box! Coarse some can be sold to get part of that back, plus they make neat UkUleles, make some, sell them. get all your money back plus.
  • I placed the first bid which goes against my usual MO...I wait to the end and snipe usually...they are at $31 now so I dont think Ill bid again
  • Yep, makes that a $20+ cigar box, to much for my blood. But I think a lot of people charge a "shipping and handling" fee knowing that is where they will make their profit. OK by me as long as I know ahead of time and them I can decide whither I choose to pay it or not. I have bought multiples when I figured with shipping it comes to no more than around $3 per box. Than I hope to sell the extras and soak someone else!
  • 10.99 for shipping is a ripoff. gotta watchout for these guys who try to squeeze extra profit in the shipping...

  • They just "O.K." I've always installed a piezo and with a little help with volume the tone quality is fine. My first weedwacker bass was built on this box and it turned out great....

Sam, how do these sound for an acoustic build?
  • Yep, the postage is the problem. I'll find one in cigar store someday. I check them when I travel. Not as if I'm going to run out of boxes to build with.

I think they are a little small for guitars, but work great for Ukuleles. Some have build guitars with them though.

  • buying singles, postage is the problem.... I have one that I could sell you for $ 5, but you'd have to do postage... proabably another $ 5 for parcel post, maybe a little more for priority...

  • Those do make awesome looking guitars. Like you though, I don't think I need eight of them! LOL
