I appreciate the kind words Dave. It is definitely more fun having Aaron play bass with me. He’s a quick study and improvises well to add color to my straight ahead playing style. I am finding my chugger is a lot of fun to play.

I’m on the road for a few weeks traveling the US to see my adult children, so it’s going to be solo chugger playing for a few weeks. The cool thing is I can Zoom from wherever I am.

I love your bass playing melody chords on this one Doug. Nice to get two instruments sounding in the zoom.

Thanks BrianQ! It’s a favorite strumming pattern on my 6-string that feels more driving than the actual tempo would lead you to believe. The pattern is: DUDDUDD.
Just like when building CBGs, you can’t have too many clamps. When playing rhythm, you can’t have too many strumming patterns!

It's Gospel Saturday   Good!  A neat old Hebrew feeling.
