  • Thanks. It sounds good to me. I've built quite a few of these. Experimented with piezos, single coils, and hum buckers. I have tried pickups mounted under the lid, embedded in the neck, extended through a slot in the can ...and this, the somewhat conventional way. My old school punk pals still prefer the noisier neck piezo rigs, but I think I am happiest with this configuration.

  • That is beautiful work.  I would like to try a film canister also.  How does it sound acoustically?
